The way Liana charges

Your history is never the price of leaving.

Your collection lives in your own iCloud, with no Liana account to make. Export is free on every plan. If a subscription ends, you keep using your whole collection, and only adding new plants pauses.

Good to know

A few useful details.

Which plants count towards the free 15?

Each owned plant counts once, and a pot of several plants counts as one. Cuttings and seed trays count from the day you start them. Wishlist, gifted, sold, deceased and archived plants never count.

Is Starter a trial?

No. Starter is free for as long as you like, with every collection and care feature.

Can I export on the free plan?

Yes. Full export is on every plan, so your records are always yours to take.

When will I see an upgrade prompt?

Only when you add a plant beyond fifteen. Your care walk stays clear of it.

What happens if my subscription ends?

You keep your whole collection, fully usable, and export stays free. Adding new plants beyond fifteen pauses until you subscribe again.

Do the people I share with need a plan?

Only the owner needs Pro+. A partner or plant sitter you invite is always free.

Are prices final?

Liana is still in development. These are the current planned prices and will be confirmed before launch.
